Mood lighting unit modulated by music - has lamps illuminating optical fibre bundle controlled by music channel to create psychedelic effect

The lighting unit has a large bundle of optical fibres grouped together at one end and allowed to splay outwards. The optical fibres are illuminated at the grouped end by a number of different coloured lamps controlled by modulator coupled to an audio circuit. Pref. the unit comprises a rectangular housing (3) divided into three compartments, each containing a different coloured spot lamp (4,5,6). Each of these illuminates part of the optical fibre bundle which are secured in a mounting supported by the top cover (2) for the housing (3). The cover can be adjusted laterally to vary the size of area coloured by each lamp (4,5,6). The lamp is controlled by the rhythm and frequency of 'psychadelic' type music. The unit can be stood on top of a loudspeaker.
