The device is used to input and display the price per unit weight of goods on an electronic weighing scales; and is designed to save time when inputting this price. The display usually shows four digits separated by a comma. If the user does not press the comma key, the comma automatically comes after the second digit input. If the user presses the comma key, the comma appears automatically after the last digit input. If the user presses the comma key after having input three or four digits, the device permits the input of one or two more digits so that a number with five digits can be displayed.
