The sound absorber has a holed plate and air volumes. These are placed side by side and each has a tube closed at one end and an opening at the other, the edge being in contact with one side (4) of a plate (1). The plate has holes (13) and the plate fits to or forms a lip (11) from the opposite side of the plate (12) from the tube. All the tubes are of equal length and their openings are applied on the hole plate area, with an equal number of holes.
