The clamping-jaw, adapts with positive location on parallel vices of different types. The fitting can be used with parallel table vices, with drilling vices and with joinery vices with a common jaw width. It may comprise a housing made by welding a square angled 'U' shaped plate to the rear of the clamping jaw. Two countersunk holes may be provided in the top wall together with a threaded hole in each side wall, and the fitting houses onto an existing jaw.
