The equipment is for extracting powder type material from the base cone (2) of a silo (1). In the axis of the cone and at its base, near the extraction zone (3) is a rotatably driven shaft (6). This is connected to a cardan joint (7). The cardan joint is fitted at the end of a cylindrical rod (8), free at its other end. This carries, along its entire length, a screw. The rod forms the screw axis. The screw is formed by a wire or strip in helical form, fixed solidly along its length.
