The unloader has rotatable cutters (10) on a horizontal support beam which can move between two vertical guides (3) fixed to the distributer chassis. The guides lie above the bottom of the inclined elevator (16) which receives chopped silage which has passed through the cutters. The distributer (8) into which the silage is fed from the silage clamp has a pair of lateral walls and a front wall (7). A pair of lateral deflectors prevent silage from returning to the clamp instead of passing onto the elevator.
