The sun blind (S) for a shop can be lowered and manually removed or vertically displaced into its operating position by a lift. This incorporates a counterweight (GP), an hydraulic ram, a linear motor and a winch. The blind (S) carries rollers (G) which are guided in rails situated on either side of the ship facade. The blind can be carried on a beam which extends across the store facade.
