The exercise bicycle for use indoors has a fixed part (A) with a tubular frame carrying rollers (16,18) which the wheel (36) rests on and on which the handlebar rod (20) is fixed. A mobile part (B) consists of the bicycle frame (24), the pedals (34) and the wheel. The two parts are joined by a bar (38) joined to an axle (40) on the fixed part. The bar is mainly horizontal so that the push from the pedals is also horizontal. The front part of the fixed frame can be raised by jacks (46') or sliding tubes to simulate slopes.
