Face=to=face velvets - monitored continuously by electronic system to adjust cutter position and control pile height

The warp pile of face-to-face woven velvets is continuously controlled for variations in height by a device fitted on the loom. The device ensures that the height of the pile on the upper fabric is the same as that of the lower fabric pile. It is connected to an electronic system which functions as a servo-control for the position of the cutter, with visual signals for cases where the anomaly persists. The monitoring of pile length is carried out continuously either on the upper or the lower fabric, or both.
