The drawgear assembly has a steering drawbar (4) for connecting trailer equipment to a tractor. The directional drawbar (4,12,15,17) is mounted to rest on the tractor (1) and is fixed by a removable bolt arrangement (19,21) to the towed equipment (20). A pair of tractor wheels (2) are mounted on a back axle (3), and a spherical housing (5) is provided for the ball end (11) of the drawbar. There is provided a main vertical swivel (7) cheek (6) above the spherical seating and two side ones (8) with vertical pivots (9). A beam (12) pivots on the main cheek (6).
