A cable connector for a telephone exchange distributor comprises a channel having an integral coaxial rod (6) at one upper side and a projection in the form of a catch at the other side. A cable connector block has a recess to receive the rod and a catch to engage the connector catch. The block also has connector ends for connecting to cables, and one or more protective cable heads. Each cable head has a recess for receiving the rod and a catch for cooperating with the connector catch, connector ends on at least two faces and components to receive modules such as protective, loop or test modules.
