The bridge has a motorised floating body (1) equipped exclusively for water propulsion (14,15) and has pivoting ramps (8,9,10,11) that can be folded at their centre and articulated on the front and back sides (2,3) of the body. The body needs a land based vehicle to transport it and to launch and recover it from the water. Each bridge body is coupled to adjacent bodies to form a bridge, with side as well as front and back connectors. The front pivoting ramps can be detached when launching the bridge.
