Valve stopper for vehicle tyre - has moulded plastics body with internal thread engaging rubber core with recess for seating head of valve

The moulded plastics, shock-resistant stopper body (1) forms a small dome which has a threaded interior (2) for fitting itself onto the neck of the valve. Retained at the interior of the body, and vulvanised in placed, is a rubber core (6), which cannot be separated from the interior of the body. The core has on its free surface a central depression or cavity (7) in which sits, in the closed position, the head of the valve.
