Ventilator-pressurised air feed for vehicle cab - has sintered metal pre-filter and activated carbon filter in air duct with feed fans

The air feed (10) is fitted to the roof (11) of a tractor cab and consists of an enclosure (12) with a hinged lid (13). The air inlet pre-filter (14) is of sintered metal in the form of a visor. A fine filter (16) of non-flammable material is fixed over the inlet. After passing from the fine filter to the chamber (d2) the air is drawn through an activated carbon filter (18) in the form of a horizontal 'V' from where it enters the fan suction chamber (d3). Twin horizontal tangential fans blow the air into the tractor cab.
