Kaleidoscope effect projector - has motor driven box creating kaleidoscope effect at end of triangular mirrored prism

The kaleidoscope projector has a mains operated bulb situated in front of a parabolic reflector and covered by a frosted glass. This produces a beam of light which passes through an effects box mounted on two bearings. The box is rotated by an electric motor via a reduction gear. Three mirrors positioned in an equilateral triangular prism lie between the effects box and a projection lens. A fan blows cooling air past the bulb in the reflector and out through vents. A switch on the back of the projector controls operation, and a fuse protects the device against excess current. The earth wire is fastened to the chassis by a screw.
