The ceiling hook has a buckle fixing it to the joist in the form of a groove (2) orientated at 45 degrees with respect to the body of the hook. The body (1) can have various lengths and consists of a single galvanised wire of 2.7 mm diameter. The end (3) can either form a right angle return to match the male profile of glazed earthenware ceiling bricks which have a male and female profile, or it can be hook shaped to support a suspended ceiling made of plaster boards.
