Electric hand drill accessory for scraping surfaces - uses serrated edge blade pivoted from collar on drill and oscillated by eccentrically mounted shaft fitting into drill chuck

The accessory is fitted to an electrically powered drill and is used to scrape wallpaper or paint from a surface. The accessory has a flat blade with a toothed edge and is carried at an angle of 45 degrees to the drill on a bush (16) fitting over a shaft (14) attached to to the electric hand drill (2) by a collar fitted over the case between the gear box and the chuck (4). The blade has two right angle side pieces (13) which carry a block (22) with a shaft (18) eccentrically mounted. The shaft is fitted into the drill chuck and when the drill is operated a side-to-side oscillating motion occurs at the blade tips, with the blade pivoting round the support shaft (14) attached to the drill.
