The game uses a TV screen on which a labyrinth is displayed in colour. Two or more players control the movement of characters through the labyrinth, some pursuing the others being pursued. The characters are of different sizes, and thus they are not capable of making identical moves. The characters are able to move forward and backward, left and right, and stop or vary their speed within the limitations of the labyrinth. The passages through the labyrinth are displayed in various colours, and are of various widths. Some passages allow only single file movement. Some are permanently open, whilst others may be closed during the course of the game. The electronic control box prevents incorrect movements being made .
