METHOD OF BOOSTING LOW PRESSURE OF GEOTHERMAL VAPOR

PURPOSE:To reduce cost required for boosting by utilizing a portion of low pressure geothermal vapor for running a compressor to boost the remaining low pressure geothermal vapor. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 4 of an expansion machine 2 is rotated by using a portion of low pressure vapor to utilize expansion pressure of low pressure geothermal vapor, while low pressure geothermal vapor 6 to be coosted is supplied to a compressor 1 which is run by a power source of the expansion machine 2 to boost said vapor pressure. Thus, since the whole amount of the low pressure geothermal vapor is not needed to be boosted, the compressor 1 may be compact, and since a portion of the low pressure geothermal vapor can be utilized for the power source, cost required for boosting can be reduced.
