HIGHLY SENSITIVE FLAME PHOTOMETER TYPE ANALYZER

PURPOSE:To detect arsine, phosphine and diborane in high sensitivity, by introducing sample gas to the fuel additive air side and sending into the burner part and then, exciting in an atmosphere of oxidizing flame always. CONSTITUTION:Sample gas (e.g. arsine, phosphine and diborane etc. in a room atmosphere) is jetted from the lower part of a burner part 2 by a sample gas introducing apparatus 1. On one hand, a fuel gas hydrogen 3 is mixed with a nitrogen 4 and hereafter, gaseous mixture is jetted from the tip end of a jet nozzle 5 and a hydrogen flame is formed by ignition. When said poisonous gas such as the arsine, phosphine and diborane exists in the sample gas, a peculiar neutral molecular emission spectrum is emitted. Then, this sepectrum is caught by a multiplier phototube 7 connected to a high voltage power source 8 and is amplified. Moreover, it is amplified by a preamplifier 9 and a main amplifer 10 and hereafter, an indicating response is recorded on a recorder 11.
