FORCE RESETTING MECHANISM FOR LIFTING AND CONNECTING PLATE FOR EJECTOR PIN OF LOWER DIE OF HORIZONTAL MOLDING OF SPLIT PATTERNS

PURPOSE:To exchange dies quickly and easily without danger by fixing plural pieces of force resetting hooks to a hook shaft provided in a lower die crank table and turning the hook shaft by means of a lever shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a lower die chuck claw 4 is turned by driving of a lower die chuck cylinder in the stage of exchanging dies, a lower die is unclamped from a crank table 1; at the same time, a lever shaft 7 is turned. Since the shaft 7, an engaging clutch 23 and a hook shaft 8 are constituted to one body, this assembly is turned, and therefore the shaft 8 is turned by overcoming the pressure of a hook holdibg spring 9, thereby opening force resetting hooks 5. The tightening of a lifting plate 2 and a lifting and connecting plate 10 is released. After this, the lower die assembly consisting of the plate 10, ejector pins 12 and the lower die is removed, and another lower die assembly is set and is clamped to the table 1 by the operations reverse from the above, so that the molding operation is started.
