REPETITIVE TENSILE TESTING METHOD OF DEFORMED STEEL BAR

PURPOSE:To prevent trouble such as breaking, by fitting steel pipes which has necessary length and a necessary diameter around both ends of a deformed steel bar and charging cement mortar in the gap formed between the deformed steel bar and steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:After the deformed steel bar 1 and steel pipe 3 are set, cement mortar is charged in the gap between the deformed steel bar 1 and steel pipe 3 and then cured in air. In this case, the steel pipes 3 having a necessary diameter are fitted around both ends of the deformed steel bar 1. Then, the deformed steel bar is caught directly by a testing machine through the cement mortar and steel pipes to prevent an interruption of the repetitive test which is caused conventionally owing to trouble at a chucking part.
