Novel dyestuffs of the perylene-3,4,9,10-dicarboximide series of the formula I are prepared by condensation of the corresponding perylenetetracarboxylic acid or of its dianhydride with a primary ether amine of the formula Z-NH2. Mixtures of amines can also be employed. The meaning of the individual symbols is to be taken from Claim 1. The dyestuffs obtained are distinguished by very good fastness properties. IMAGE
