WATER CUTOFF RELAY WITH INCORPORATED OVERFLOW ALARM UNIT

PURPOSE:To attain a major cost decrease by integrating a overlfow alarm unit and a water cutoff relay so that the product can be made compact and the number of parts can be reduced remarkably. CONSTITUTION:When the water level rises to reach near a overflow port 10, a float 4 which has been so far responding freely to the water level is fixed by the section of a retaining ring 6 of a contact bar 3, then the added buoyancy of floats a, b pushes a stem 11 of a relay section 1. As a result, the pushing pressure, surpassing a resisting power of a spring 14, further raises the stem 11, which has been positioned at the middle point of a switch 12 in a normal operation, so that it pushes the button of a microswitch b13 and turns an overflow alarm unit 15 on. The overflow alarm unit 15 is connected to a buzzer for reporting, and a solenoid valve is provided on a water pipe connected to a pole tap 9 so as to cutoff the water feeding. Thus, by integrating the overflow alarm unit 15 and the water cutoff relay 1, the product can be made compact and the number of parts can be reduced remarkably.
