PURPOSE:To facilitate the working of components of a yoke as well as the assembling operation of the yoke by forcibly putting a bottom disk having an inner ring concentrically fixed to one side into an outer ring to form a magnetizing coil receiving recess between the inner and outer rings. CONSTITUTION:The heading electromagnetic brake has a yoke consisting of a bottom disk 10, an inner ring 11 and an outer ring 12, and attracts an armature 22 by energizing a magnetizing coil 4 wound between the inner and outer rings 11, 12 to release braking.
