PURPOSE:To prepare the titled sintered ore having excellent quality by a method wherein a coarse particulate stock material which is remained as a solid during sintering or produces no calcium ferrite (CF) and a fine powdery stock material producing CF are mixed and the resulting mixture is granulated to be sintered. CONSTITUTION:A coarse particulate sintering stock material which is remained as a solid during sintering or does not contribute to CF production, that is, the coarse particulate sintering ore obtained by falsely granulating iron ore having good reducibility, a MgO source such as serpentinite or the like or a iron ore fine powder and a fine powdery sintering stock material producing CF are mixed and the obtained mixture is granulated. In this case, the above described coarse particulate stock material is used as a granulation nucleus and, during sintering, the fine powdery sintering stock material producing CF, for example, a fine powdery stock material obtained by compounding an iron ore powder and a lime stone powder so as to form a CaO.2Fe2O3 composition is adhered to the periphery of said granulation nucleus to carry out granulation. In addition, coke is appropriately mixed during granulation. When this sintering stock material is sintered at a low temp., the powder layers of each particles are melted to produce CF and fuses the periphery of a baked center nucleus product to prepare integrally sintered ore.
