CONSTRUCTION OF RETAINING WALL BY INTEGRALLY COMBINING LLSHAPED CONCRETE BLOCK AND BURIED PILE

PURPOSE:To construct a retaining wall higher than a vertical limited height simply, rapidly, and at low cost by a method in which the stay and fixing parts of L-shaped concrete blocks are buried deep in the ground and buried piles are connected to the fixing part. CONSTITUTION:A given part of the ground is consolidated, base concrete is horizontally placed, and at the same time vertically piercing iron bars 13 are buried and fixed in given through holes 5 and 6 for the iron bars. Then, the iron bar through holes 5 and 6 of L-shaped concrete block 1 are each fitted on the iron bar 13 and joined in either normal state or reverse state by combining a push claw 10 and a receive claw 11 to construct the first step. Then, a bedding soil is filled in between the stay 3 and the fixing part 4 on the back side, corresponding to a wall- forming part 2 and about 1/4 of wall width, and then the second step block 1 is provided in reverse state to the first step. The setting position of a pile 15 is determined by a strength calculation, the pile 15 and the block 1 are fixed in the ground, and an iron bar 16 for both is securely clamped by a turn buckle 17.
