PURPOSE:To improve the mechanical strength and cohesion resistance in a high temp. gaseous He atmosphere of a titled material by using mixed powders of specific compositions of Al-Cr alloy powder and self-fluxing alloy powder consisting of Ni, Cr, Si, B, C. CONSTITUTION:This cohesion resistant melt spraying material for high temp. gas furnaces is the mixed powders of Al-Cr alloy powder and self-fluxing alloy powder consisting of Ni, Cr, Si, B, C. The composition of these mixed powders consists of 3-10% Al by wt%. 20-35% Cr, 45-65% Ni, 2-4.5% Si, 2'3.5% B, 0.5-1% C and 3.5% impurities for the balance. This material is used by being melt- sprayed on the contact surface of one of the structual materials wherein the structural materials of the high temp. gas furnace contact each other, by a plasma melt spraying method.
