PREVENTING SYSTEM FOR FORGERY AND FALSIFICATION OF TICKET

PURPOSE:To prevent forgery and falsification of pari-mutual tickets perfectly by concealing a secret mark information in a pattern printed on pari-mutual tickets and thereby adding newly formed secret data to the pattern using this information. CONSTITUTION:A pattern printed on ticket paper 1 is read by the reading section 5 of a ticket vending machine 10 and a secret mark C is detected by a detecting section 4. It is sent to a processor 13, and a ticket 2 cut by a cutter 6 is sent to a printer 8. Betting data D relating to a race is inputted from a keyboard 3 and stored in a memory 7. At the sme time the data are sent to the processor 13 and checked by a checking section 11. Secret data E is made by a code making section 12 basing on the data D and information C and printed by a printer 8. The data E is read by the magnetic reading section 17 of a refunding machine 14 and sent to the processor 13 together with data D, information C etc. read by a reading section 16. The data E are compared with newly made secret data E1 by a decision section 21 and genuineness of the pari-nutual ticket 2 is judged.
