The throw-away toothbrush has the head (1) carrying the bristles (2) provided with a cavity (4) at the side (3) away from the bristles. This cavity contains a quantity of toothpaste or cleaning agent and connects to the bristle carrying area via orifices (6). This cavity is pref. covered by flexible foil (5) or the like so that the toothpaste can be extruded by light pressure on the foil. The head may be a separate component which fits on a handle (7) or may be integral with the handle. FL.
