The game consists of a board on which are forty-nine compartments. The game is played with seven red and seven black pieces, and its object is to capture the opponent's joker. Each side of seven pieces consists of two jacks, two queens, two kings and the joker. At the outset of the game, the seven pieces are arranged on opposite sides of the board, in the order of: jack, queen, king, joker, king, queen, jack.
