The invention relates to the use of a cobalt/chromium alloy known per se, which consists of 10 to 35% of chromium, 1 to 10% of titanium and 2 to 15% of molybdenum, the remainder being cobalt including impurities resulting from manufacture. Materials of this composition are suggested for prosthesis structures which are coated with dental ceramics. Preferably, an alloy of 2 to 5% of titanium, 3 to 6% of molybdenum, 15 to 25% of chromium and, if appropriate, 0.1 to 3% of manganese, 0.1 to 2% of iron, 0.1 to 2% of aluminium and/or 0.1 to 1% of silicon, the remainder being cobalt, is selected, which has been vacuum-cast.
