A PROCESS FOR ISOLATION OF GIBERELINES ESPECIALLY OF GIBERELINIC ACID FROM RESIDUAL BIOSYNTHETIC SOLUTION

A biosynthetic process for isolation of giberelinic acid from broth by sorption and desorption with solvents characterized in that the broth is passed through a bed of highly porous monionic, nonpolar or medium polar resin which being divinylbenzene copolymer containing styrene or ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid; said desorption of giberelinic acid from the bed is carried out by passing the solvent of chosen group viz., acetone, aqueous solution of acetone of concentration above 70% or below 45%, aqueous solution of methyl alcohol of concentration from 35 to 80% or aqueous solution of ethyl alcohol of concentration from 40 to 90% and then the bed is regenerated by washing it with aqueous solution of acetone of concentration from 45 to 70% or aqueous solution of methyl alcohol of concentration from 80 to 95% or aqueous solution of ethyl alcohol of concentration from 20 to 40%.
