The arrangement is intended for manufacturing washed concrete tiles (6). Gravel is spread on the bottom (3') of a steel mould (2) and concrete poured thereon compacted by pressing and/or vibrating after which the bottom is raised (3,4,5) so that the facing side of the tile is above the top of the mould. The tile is then moved (by 7,10) sideways (K) and its facing side sprayed (21). This sideway movement is effected whilst applying (8,9) upward suction (V), on the other face of the tile such that it slides off the bottom (3) and remains suspended whilst the facing side is sprayed (21) from below.
