Nestable life poultry transport tray - has one open side with closure strip and blocks inside walls to allow nested stacking of filled trays

The tray, for transporting live poultry, e.g. turkeys, comprises a bottom with three sides which are slightly outwardly inclined in upward direction. Blocks are arranged inside the side walls and extend to approximately half their height to permit nested stacking of filled trays whilst a removable strip of the same height as the blocks permits closing of the fourth side. The tray is pref. glass fibre-reinforced polyester or light metal and may have ventilation openings in the side walls, pref. arranged at two levels, i.e. below and above the level of the bottom of the next tray nestingly stacked therein.
