The tennis training court has an ejector machine mounted at a distance from the net roughly equal to that of the base line, throwing the balls from a hopper over the net at the pupil with variable force. A conveyor returns the balls to the machine. The conveyor comprises one or more ball troughs (6,7) connected to a sloping return passage (8,9). The latter in turn delivers to a collecting hopper (10) below the machine (1). There can be a trough in front of the net on the side towards the pupils, and another in front of a partition at the rear, the latter having an opening through which the balls are thrown. FL.
