The fluid-extracting worm press has a cylinder (2) with a worm (1) operating inside the cylinder. The worm (1) has a continuous part of thread (8) extending over the first part (4) of the cylinder (2). The cylinder has a number of axial grooves (3) of triangle, square, or semi-circular cross section which prevents the solid part of the mixture from rotating together with the worm. A number of perforations (21) along the bottom of the cylinder (2) evacuates the extracted fluid into collecting receptacle (22). The downstream continuation (5) of the press cylinder (2) is provided with four adjustable radial studs (6) reaching into gaps (7) of the discontinuous thread (8).
