The invention relates to a connection member preventing collapse of building structures, especially those made of concrete. A tension member 13 incorporated in the connection member is connected to the structure via a cast compound, which allows the tension member to slide in the event of a tensile stress which is below the ultimate tensile strength of the tension member.
