Material e.g. cloth is put on a flat support which moves perpendicular to two stationary support surfaces. These locate exactly two perpendicular edges of the fabric. The process can be repeated to produce a stack of exactly located fabric pieces. Used for sewing or cutting stacks of accurately positioned fabrics.
