The control system is used for motor driven machines, esp. precision machine tools and reduces vibration by converting detected vibration acceleration to phase compensation signals supplied as feedback to the motor drive control. A motor drives a load via a transmission system in response to signals from a speed command unit supplied via a subtractor and speed controller. Acceleration of vibration in the load is detected and converted to electrical signals proportional to the acceleration. These signals are converted to suitable phase compensation signals for damping vibration by a phase compensator and gain compensation circuit and supplied to the subtractor to cause required adjustment of motor drive.
