To achieve complete filtering in a single operation, the filtering cardboard comprises two or more layers (1,3,7) with different porosity characteristics. The said layers are arranged in an order such that in the press the liquid product to be filtered passes, as shown by the arrow (f1), through layers (1,3,7) of decreasing porosity that retain increasingly smaller particles. A final layer (5) is an anti-fluff layer. The layers are joined around the perimeter by a substance that is impregnated (at C1) and distributed superficially (at C2). IMAGE
