Procedure for the synthesis of 1 - (azaalcanoil carboxy acids or azaaralcanoil) - 2 - indolin carboxylic - and its Salts, esters and amides of formula (i) in which R, pH, and may be several types of radical R; and R, r, R and R is Hydrogen or lower alkyl.Consists in the reaction of hydrogenation of Schiff base of formula (ii) or its functional Derivatives, in which one of P and q is zero and the other is equal to 1, and the other symbols have the same meaning as in formula (i).The hydrogenation is carried out with Hydrogen in the presence of Catalysts with electrolytically generated Hydrogen, or can also be used reducing agents, such as hydrides. These compounds have as antihypertensive pharmacological applications.
