Consists in a First distillation of the mixture at Atmospheric Pressure, removing HCN; Product form a queue that contains Water and acetonitrile / water azeotrope.This azeotrope distillation at Atmospheric Pressure below, which forms another product line and a Second acetonitrile azeotrope Richer in acetonitrile / water.The Second distillation, azeotrope at a pressure above One Atmosphere, resulting in an azeotrope containing Water, a product of colas constituted fundamentally by acetonitrile and Heavy Organic Compounds, and a Lateral Flow of high purity acetonitrile.Application for the treatment of mixtures obtained by ammoxidation of propylene with oxygen and Ammonia to form acrylonitrile.
