ABSTRACTThe invention relates to a plastic canister with acontinuous wall formed by inflating an extruded tube, which is atleast in a few wall regions reinforced by external wall elementsattached to the outside of the wall and also consists of plastic,with the external wall elements comprising at least two shellswhich are injection-molded from a surface-stabilized low distortionplastic, which have hollow frustrums projecting into the interiorof the canister and facing each other, which in the region oftheir opposite bottom surfaces are joined to each other, and withthe shells welded flush to the blown canister wall at their innerside turned toward the canister wall. Each hollow frustrum has itscircumferential wall provided with an annular bulge having a grooveformed on the inner surface periphery of the hollow frustrum.
