There are described an immunologically active, labelled agent, a process for the preparation of this agent, an immunological method for detecting or determining a substance with this agent, and the use of this agent in an immunological detection method. The agent mentioned is a complex consisting of an immunologically active material to which biotin is bound covalently, and avidin, to which an enzyme is bound covalently.
