Burning method in a coal tunnel kiln (2) avoiding the inconvenience of coal dust and ashes. Coal is stored in a bunker (11), which is preferably tight, and fed, by means of a tight conveyor belt or chain (13. 14) connected to the bunker, to coal burners (21) consisting of burners arranged along the width of the furnace (2). The burners are connected to an air feeding pipe (15, 16, 17) through which pressurized air is pulsatorily blown on predetermined amounts of coal.
