the invention relates to a method of isotope separation.;this method is to excite molecules by absorption of a light beam is used to excite and to the dissociation of these molecules, several isotopic forms.a vibrational transfer between molecules and the molecules, molecules with a dissociation energy is higher than that of molecules,the duration and the energy of the light pulse such that the time to absorb the molecules is less than the time of excitation of the molecules and the temperature issuch as the line width of thermal vibration is the closest to the isotopic difference between the resonance lines of the two isotopic species.
