Weft storage device without the north looms

A weft-detaining device for a shuttleless loom has a drum(18) formed from a straight plane(18b) that is joined onto a taper plane(18a). The weft is wound at the straight plane(18b) of the drum and is detained intermittently. The taper part(18c) is located at the drum apart from the taper plane(18a). The straight part(18d) regulates the movement of the weft.
