Liq.-proof, tear-open closure for a container esp. a liq. food container, is a laminated film welded on the opening of the container. The laminate comprises a plastics adhesive layer compatible with the plastics from which the container is madef an interlayer; and, on top of this, a load-bearing ply. The adhesive layer is perforated at least near he weld seam.
