Hollow charge in projectile has booster in two possible positions - one for striking target other if target missed

A hollow charge projectile, typically for dropping by parachute, and esp. having positioning elements which can be folded down from the outer face of the casing, contains a firing system which detonates either by direct impact on the target or if the target is missed. A double hollow charge between two hollow charge inlays at opposite ends of the casing contains, centrally, a cylindrical chamber containing a booster and connecting the two inlays together. This booster is fixed in a first (upper) position (A) by means of an attachment of limited strength so that when this attachment intentionally ruptures on impact the booster moves to a second position (B) at the opposite end of the cylindrical chamber. If the charge, when dropped, falls directly onto its target the booster operates in position (A), whereas if the charge misses the target and lands upon the ground the booster becomes detached from this position and falls to position (B), where the explosion is directed upwards.
